To ensure the continuation of the club we would therefore like to encourage more people to think about joining the club or coming on the committee. Committee membership is not too time consuming – we organise coffee mornings on eight Saturdays a year (see dates for 2020 Below), but our main focus is the Annual Garden Club Show, held on August Bank Holiday Saturday. Coffee and craft mornings
We will be holding two more of our very successful coffee and craft mornings in the run up to the end of 2019: on 16th November and 14th December. Dates for 2020 are: 21st March, 18th April, 16 May, 20th June, 18th July, 17th October, 21st November and 19th December.
Coffee and craft mornings are held on Saturday mornings in the Village Hall, Bampton, 10 am to noon. We normally have tables selling plants (flowers and vegetables), local produce (cakes, chutneys), a variety of local crafts and books for local causes, etc. If you would like to have a table at the coffee morning to sell your own produce or craft, these are available for a small charge on a first-come-first-served basis – please contact Dennis West on 01993 778414.
